About the Event
If you haven’t attended our Chappell Hill Vol. Fire Dept. BBQ Cookoff & Rib Shoot Off, mark your calendars now! Friday & Saturday May 4th & 5th. We are sad this is the last one, so come out and support our Volunteer Firefighters in Downtown Chappell Hill! See y’all there! Note: for additional information, contact Marcy Kmiec at 979-251-4440. NOTE: Friday is cook off teams set up…the general public is welome to wander and tasting is optional per cooking team. Also, Friday, Auctions/Raffle items are on display. Saturday is the big day! Cooking for the competition begins at 9AM. OFFICIAL Tastings are available. 4PM winners are announced and then the Auctions and Raffles begin and are announced. See y’all there! NOTE: This is going to be the last year for this event…sadly…many of the cookers are reaching the age..that…..well, let’s just say it’s a long hard weekend. Hope to see y’all there.
