This summer Gibbous Moon Productions is proud to present The Seagull, written by Anton Chekhov and famously performed in the Moscow Art Theatre. This show follows the success and failures of four characters: the famous writer Boris, the wide-eyed ingenue Nina, the fading actress Irina, and her son, the experimental playwright Konstantin, who have all joined together for a summer at a country estate. Throughout the summer, hilarity and heartbreak ensues as these characters come face to face with love, jealousy, and the reality of one's hopes and dreams.
The Seagull will premiere at the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum on June 13th, at 7:00 p.m., with performances following on June 14th at 7:00 p.m., and June 15th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, and $6 for students. Tickets will be available at the Museum & the Visitor’s Center in Downtown Brenham beginning Tuesday, May 28th.
